Students of Sundargarh Public School have been divided into Four Houses named EDISON,NEWTON,EINSTEIN and RAMAN.The  House System is a service-sum-training organisation.Its Objectives are:-

1. Topromote welfare of the students

2.To promote better student -teacher relationship.

3.To encourage self discipline

4.To arouse greater school spirit

5.To impact training in the skill of management and leadership.

6.Each house is headed by two guide teacher and one house captain(a student)

EACH HOUSE PERFORM THE FOLLOWING DUTIES IN ROTATION

1. To organise the morning assembly

2.to write three news concerning National and International sports events and also a Thought  for the day

3.To deliver Thought in the form of a short speech in the assembly

4.To check the late comers  and mark them in the Late comers registers.

5.To look after the general cleanliless of the school.

6.To check the students uniforms and nails

7.To mainatin dicsipline on the school functions

8.To be proud of own house and always work for its healthy tradition
